COMPANY INFORMATION
Advantage Nutrition went online in January of 1996.  We are a family owned and operated company located on eastern Long Island, New York.
Our primary goal is to provide our customers with quality products, low prices, and fast order turnaround times.  We ship to all United States addresses including military APO/FPO boxes.

Reliability:
Feel free to check our company profile the Better Business Bureau.  There are no unresolved complaints  (to access BBB file, type company name as AdvantageNutrition.com and choose NY as state).

Data Security:
Our shopping cart uses the latest Verisign SSL encryption.  Our shopping cart is also AuthorizeNet approved and HackerSafe.  You can verify the HackerSafe approval by clicking on the HackerSafe logo at the bottom of the shopping cart during checkout.  Look for the security symbol in your browser when you check out.  Verify the AuthorizeNet approval by clicking on the logo at the bottom of our Home Page.

PRIVACY POLICY:
Customer's private data will NEVER be sold or distributed under any circumstances--period!  This includes address, phone, and e-mail address.
This would be a betrayal of our relationship with our customers.  Our business is providing high quality nutritional products at low prices--not selling mailing lists.

PAYMENT METHODS
NEW- We now offer GOOGLE Checkout (tm) for your security and convenience.!  To sign up or learn more, visit https://checkout.google.com.
Pay on line with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or PayPal.  You can also choose the fax option in the shopping cart so you can print the order and fax it to us.  You can pay by mail using the shopping cart to print out your order.  We accept money orders.  CHECK POLICY: Personal checks over $50 will be held for 10 days before the order is shipped.  We suggest using PayPal.com instead of checks--it is much faster, secure, and you get all sorts of great benefits.  Payments by mail should be sent to the address listed in the next section.


REFUNDS, CREDITS, RETURNS, or DAMAGE:
If you are unhappy with the quality of a product you purchased from us, you may return it to us for replacement or refund.  Open boxes of bars may not be returned because you did not like the flavor.  Please write to us about the problem using our  web contact form before sending back products. If an error was made filling your order we will send the correct item with a UPS call tag for the mis-picked item.  Please pack it up in a box and we will have UPS pick it up at your home or work address.  Shipping/handling charges are non-refundable.  If items in your package are damaged when they arrive, please send us e-mail immediately so we may send replacements.  Do not discard damaged items or their packaging because UPS may want to inspect them.  UPS shipped packages are insured against loss or damage.  Returns must be sent to our shipping center at the following address:

Credits/Refunds DUE
Sometimes processing of paperwork gets behind schedule.  If you are owed a refund on your credit card please use the web contact form to let us know it has not been processed and we will have it completed within 1 business day.  Please note that it takes up to 48 hour for a credit to appear, depending on what time of day it was submitted.

Advantage Nutrition is not responsible for typographical, coding, or calculation errors on our pages or in our shopping cart; or for sale prices from expired pages cached on your hard drive.  However, you may return items purchased due to incorrect product size, description, or pricing. We reserve the right to limit quantities.

The absolute best way to reach us is to click on the "Contact Us" link above or anywhere on our site.  Fill out the contact form and we will respond by e-mail. Most messages received during our business hours will be answered the same day.  We use this form because we cannot post an e-mail address here due to problems with spammers.

USING THE SHOPPING CART - Q&A.
Q. How do I add items to the shopping cart?
A. Use your mouse to highlight the "0" quantity to the left of the item you want and then enter the quantity you desire.  Repeat
this procedure until you have entered a quantity for each item you want within that list.  Then simply scroll down to the
bottom of that section and you will see a large shopping cart icon.  Click on that button and the items will be put into your
cart.  Hit your browser's BACK button to go back to the page you were on.  You may continue to other product sections or
other pages of our site and continue to add items to the cart.
Important: You must click shopping cart button is right below the section you selected an item from.
Once you have added all the items you need to the shopping cart,  you can submit the order and you will be prompted to enter your address and credit
card information. If your order is received successfully, you will receive an e-mail confirmation.

Q. What if I am mailing or faxing in my order?
You should use the shopping cart for all types of orders, even if you are going to fax or mail the order in.  The shopping cart
will produce a simple order page which you can print out and enclose and mail with payment.  Alternatively, you can hand
write your credit card number on it and then fax or mail it to us.  All mailing/fax information will be given when you place the
order.

Q. What should I do if the shopping cart is not working for me?
If our shopping cart system is not working please contact us via our Web Contact Form and describe the problem in detail.  Most problems are caused by minor coding errors which can be fixed within a few minutes if it is during business hours.

Q. Is the shopping cart secure?
Our shopping cart uses the latest SSL (secure socket layer) technology, plus an additional security measure that splits the credit card number in half making any information obtained useless to a hacker.  Card numbers are stored on a non networked drive that can not be accessed from outside our company.
